Suggest charger

I have started using the HiTec rdx1 since I picked it up for my Traxxas. Just had to pick up the adapter. I have been pretty happy with its performance, and its not very expensive.

There are all sorts of chargers available over on HobbyKing. I personally use the Turnigy Accucell-6 or Reaktor

Either one requires an external power supply that provides between 10~18v. I use old IBM 16v/4.5A laptop power bricks with mine and they work great. You do have to learn how to use them as you can overcharge LiPo batteries if you have your setting incorrect.

Here are the specs on the Reaktor.

Features:
• Microprocessor controlled
• Delta-peak sensitivity (NiMH / NiCd)
• Individual cell balancing charge & discharge
• Li-ion, Li-poly and LiFe capable
• Ni-Cd and NiMH capable
• High-power and high-performance circuit
• Store function, allows safe storage current
• Data storage (Store up to 10 packs in memory)
• Cyclic charging / discharging
• Convenient foam cutter power supply function
