Critical infrastructure is a term to become familiar with. Texas House Bill 1643 has been sent to Gov. Gregg Abbot and he is expected to sign it, and for it to take effect in September.

Ridiculousness. We hire (elect) politicians to crush us with laws. That seems to be their only job. The Federal Registry is over 97,000 pages - the tax code almost 75,000 pages. No one even knows how many laws there are in our country (US) and that is just crazy! Maybe we should fire anyone even proposing a new law for a while. Lawmaking for the sole purpose of making laws is oppression. We only need laws that punish criminals, protect those that can't protect themselves, aid the needy, adjudicate business and personal disputes. Laws should promote civility and social order, not fear. There should be a limit to the number of ridiculous laws and regulations. In this paradigm, Uh, my head. -M
