Thats a pretty impressive arrangement, I see the first flights are unmanned.

Had they done it that way with the Osprey they would have saved a lot of lives. Looking back at the first time I rode in one I was scared chitless thinking about earlier crashes with a load of Marines on board. Walking up the ramp felt like walking into the valley of death. But it was a good ride and a lot faster and smoother than a helicopter.

I remember the early day of Osprey too, thats a hard teething period to forget, I might be afraid to hop on one even still. But it looks like they finally got it to were it needed to be in terms of reliability and mission achievement.

Got them flying in and out of Kirtland AFB all the time... they have a unique sound when flying, I assume because of the large area of those rotors.
