UgCS Software for H520

Hi,
Just had a look on UgCS web site showing a interesting software that is supposed to be compatible with H520.
It is described as an automated drone mission planning, built-in Photogrammetry and Geotagging tools, Digital Elevation Model (DEM) and KML file import enables map customisation, and battery change option for long routes...
As I am still waiting for my H520 to arrive, I wonder what specialist/advanced H520 owners may think about this software ? Better than Yuneec implimented software or the new Pix4DCapture ?

It appears to be a Pixhawk compatible ground station implementation - so basically you can plan a mission offline and the H520 will replay it autonomously. Essentially, it's still running the mission on the same H520 flight controller, so what the drone actually does will be no different.

Personally, I feel that this is a step down from the in-built software which at least gives you the ability to switch between manual flight and autonomous flight in a single application (and the same reason that Pix4DCapture in itself is not that exciting). The mission planning side may be a bit better than Yuneec's or Pix4DCapture, but that would depend on what your specific needs and expectations are. The rest is down to which service you want to process your images.

I agree with you. However, the possibility of planning missions on rugged terrain with different altitudes by having a drone that always flies following the curves of the terrain seems to me to be an advantage over the current YUNEEC system or Pix4dcapture. The possibility of mixing flights (classic and orbital survey) in the same mission seems to me to be promising (if PX4 allows orbital flights in the future...). Thank you for this very wise return!
