A few days ago I started a flight with my Yuneec Breeze and when it was hoovering about 10 meters away at height of about 5 meters it suddenly started to beep and landed slowly. The control of the drone was lost - I could not do anything with my iPhone - all controls were disabled or their was no connection. The drone was over a swamp and I was lucky that the exact area where it landed was dry and I could retrieve it. After landing the drone was beeping constantly and this is how I could find it in the tall reed (cane/rush?) of the swamp. After a restart I could fly it again without a problem.
Does anybody have an idea why the drone landed suddenly like this? Why wouldn't it return home? I thought this is what it supposed to do if control is lost. Why did it beep all the time?
I contacted support and await their answer as well.
