i got about 2200 feet out of the stock video antenna straight line 400ft altitude with minimal obstructions. grabbed an old $6 5db gain wifi router antenna i had in a box, screwed it on and got about 3300 feet. i think thats about as far as i ever want to fly it away from me because i could barely see it. that being said, im considering an antenna upgrade just to ensure i never lose connection. what are you guys using and have any recommendations?
