Yuneec Typhoon 3DR H520G remote not connecting to drone

Hi,

I own a 3DR H520G. I took it out for a job last week to do 3 flights. The first flight was successful, and I switched battery.

On the second flight, the drone won't bind to the remote, but I can somehow still control the gimbal with the remote controller.

Any tips on how to rectify this?

Hey, I hope the 3DR tech support was able to get your issue resolved with the H520G version. I've had this happen to me a few times for various reasons.

A few ways to troubleshoot:
(1) Reboot iPad, or at least quit the SiteScan app before every single mission
(2) Check that you are using an Apple original lightning cable, I've had bad experiences with a 3rd party cable failing on me on the job
(3) Bind the remote again with the instructions on the manual, it's something about flipping the drone upside down and then following on-screen commands
