Zip files on camera chip

What's the deal with all the zip files that are created on the camera chip when recording video? They all have corresponding numbers to each vid saved.

My guess is that they are the sound files

Mystery solved! Once un zipped the file extension is (.THM.) .thm files are Thumbnail video files which are used to display a thumbnail image of the video.
