Anyone play this? Having troble posting?

From a photography standpoint...higher ISO causes a lot of that noise. I'd guess the ND filter was too dark and it had to compensate by making it a higher ISO so the shutter speed didn't get too slow. ISO is the "gain" of the sensor, lower numbers are better to get a cleaner image. Put it in a...

    Wind worthiness of the 'H'

    Does that answer your question?

HOW TO ACTIVATE FRONT FACING SONAR (this isn't the intel real sense)

Exactly. You could have made that a 15 second video to explain something that should be pretty obvious. All that to say "if you turn on the switch it works, if you don't turn it on it doesn't work". Pretty sure that's covered in the manual, or you could just read the label next to the switch...

    St-16 movie app

Have you tried VLC player? It handles quite a big range of video codecs/formats. I've never tried to edit with it, don't even know if it can or not. Editing 4k on a tablet is asking a lot unless you're just trimming and splicing, my somewhat new laptop won't even play a 4k video without lots...

Anyone play this? Having troble posting?

I think this could be fixed in firmware honestly...if it would bias the exposure towards the bottom half it would cure most of this and generally get better exposure considering most of the time there will be some sky in the shot. Hopefully they're listening, it'll help out with all these...

Anyone play this? Having troble posting?

I don't have an H yet, but it's generally what all cameras will do in this situation. Auto modes will render a picture that is 18% grey (look it up if you're not familiar). The brighter the top half is, the darker the bottom half gets so it can get to that magic 18% number for the overall...

Got it! Should I calibrate or just fly it?

I saw elsewhere today that you have to have to face North while doing the calibration or it may fail. Someone else was having the same issue and that fixed it.

    Waypoint missions

I have faith they'll incorporate that in the future. The CGOET thermal camera is coming along, I spoke with their customer service about it yesterday. I'd hope they would make some specific modes for SAR that work with the thermal camera. They probably won't include it for the general public...

Just Off the Phone with Yuneec USA

CGOET is a thermal camera. Looked closer at the internal pictures, it's got a FLIR Lepton sensor inside. It's the 50 degree FOV version with shutter. I have mixed feelings with that choice. Much cheaper sensor but really low resolution at 80h x 60w. The shutter version means it can do...
