Gimbal spinning around on power up

Ha...Excellent point. I guess my poor design thought was that the failure point in the event of impact or a crash should be designed to be an easier repair, not a forced separation of leads from a solder point or getting them yanked out of the slip ring. A connector that disconnects on a pull...

Gimbal spinning around on power up

I reused the old motor. Checked the pin outs and solder points, will check again, but pretty confident they are correct.

Gimbal spinning around on power up

Hey Guys, So I had a bit of an issue with a palm tree, I inadvertently decided it needed a few palm fronds trimmed ;), which my TH didn't like very much and it came down a lot harder than it should have. :( Broken landing strut, broken motor arm and broken gimbal. Strut and motor arm fixed...

    Screenshot of ST-16 display?

Hey guys, Having an issue with my ST-16 and as I researched other threads on the issue, I noticed others posted some clean screen shots of the Channel Settings and Hardware monitor directly from their ST-16. How do you do that? (I keep looking for the power and volume up button to press...

    Missed business opportunities?

Agree, don't see any of the active tracking technologies being of great use commercially. Wizard or Active Track. I guess I was thinking more of a static focus. An example being a house being the point of interest while the ST-16 is down the block to not be in the shot. Then doing a fly by...

    Missed business opportunities?

Feels as though this thread is getting slightly off topic, kindly allow me an attempt to steer it back. As do I. None of note. I have had some issues with capturing DroneBase panoramas. They admittedly are geared towards DJI and their software can integrate directly with DJI birds. Not...

    DroneBase and Panoramas

You guys inspired me to accept another Drone Base mission and upload my panos to them. First, the upload was terrible. Stuck on processing 3 images for quite some time but I managed through browser refreshes and a re upload I got it to work. But then.... ...rejected. Same standard...

    CGO3 App for Android - worked...now broke on Nexus 7 - SOLVED

Very cool! Question: Do you find the video latency to be poor, sometimes as much as 2 to 3 seconds?

    DroneBase and Panoramas

Agree. They definitely don't utilized very good stitching software and agree even more the compensation is terrible. Not worth it at all. Thanks for your thoughts. Appreciated.

    DroneBase and Panoramas

haha...great point. I did think that, and yes I did rename them. Not to DJI0000X.jpg but to the house address.xxx.jpg. I did NOT however remove any EXIF data. So that would give it away.

    DroneBase and Panoramas

Hey guys, Curious if anyone has ever registered as a pilot on DroneBase, accepted a pano mission and then uploaded their TH created panorama still images. I ask because I have. The first one was stitched and accepted. However the next 3 were not able to be stitched by DroneBase's software...

    Stitching photos

Pretty cool. I occasionally have trouble stitching together my panos from the H. Not enough overlap and the software can't find good control points I guess. Curious how successful Google Photos will be when others (MS ICE / PTGui / Pano Studio) have failed to successfully stitch usually when...

    Why the "H" didn't my H land? Advice! :-)

wow...thank you @2lip for a wonderful read. Your original post had me appreciating the wit, the sarcasm, the humor; then your replies just got better. A little long winded (as are mine), but thank you for not wasting my time reading ;) Welcome to the forum. My $.02: over time you will...

How to edit Curved Cable Cam routes

Upgraded from version 2.0 to version 2.0.2. Opened an existing CCC file. Clicked the pencil to edit in Mission editor. Set take off point. Adjusted waypoints. Saved as new CCC file. works great!!!! Thanks @Tuna. HUGE value added functionality IMHO. Heading out to fly it now.....
