So originally i was under the impression that only one thing can connect to and control the camera on the H. That's what many of you said. Testing this morning proved otherwise. Of course all the apps seem to suck. What app is best for controlling and viewing the cgo3? Has anyone seen any 3rd party apps? Is there a program that can be used from a laptop? If not, why not??? In theory anything and everything with a wifi connection is capable of connecting to the cgo3.

Camera control is on my list to add to the app, but to be honest at the distance I'm usually flying, without an external aerial my tablet wouldn't be able to connect to the camera. It becomes a bit of a specialist thing if you need a custom tablet or laptop with an external directional wifi antenna.

I agree the distance thing for most will be an issue how ever... Ralphy wants to be able to use a phone or tablet to do the video while riding an eboard. Thinking about it for awhile i realized it might be cool to be able to FPV with a phone like a samsung and some vr gear while doing something else. Using the wizard and a phone this is totally plausible. fpv for that mater via any phone you would like without wiring to the st16 would be nice. Even if still controlling the camera with the st16 as it seemed the few controls the apps do have overlap the st16 just fine so.... Also just a novelty idea..... in theory you could connect the camera to a router... that you could have hooked up to some sort of long range antenna that then distributes the signals to any number of controllers or monitors and you could have a whole building full of people watching live FPV view... Of course this brings into question over all bandwidth capability's of the hardware in the cgo3. (bandwith for controls of course theoretically the video could be split infinitely by a router)

Were you able to pick up video with the cgo app? I have both the apps by yuneec and neither one of them will display video from the cgo3+

Just letting everyone know... I have gotten ALL 4? or was it 5? of the yuneec apps to work now. Video and all. The key to most it was that you can not allow the app to do the connecting. Open your phone or tablets wifi and connect it that way making sure to enter the 1234567890 password into the wep key. Then open the app. Some of the apps are buggy and required me to enter into the settings and then back out into the camera view to get the feed to pop up. They work. They can work simultaneously with the st16 and any number of things and log in and view/change the camera. Testing done on Samsung Note 5 and a Samsung Tab S. Will be trying to come up with options for laptop viewing. BTW I have a smart TV with wireless capability's. Wonder if I can get the video to feed to my smart screen ;)

Smart TV watching what the H is seeing, now that would be smart.
