curious about using my h480 and cgo3+ for videos of solar eclipse, would there be any damage to camera?? KC

If you have a Smoke or Clear UV Filter on your Camera it should be fine... A UV Filter can Help prevent Damage to the Camera Sensor... The main drawback is; you won't be able to Tilt the Camera High enough to get a Good Shot... Don't expect to capture a Great Video due to the Distance of the Subject...Filming your friends and family experiencing the moment together may make for a more interesting Video, and you could add still photos and other Video clips when you edit the Video...;)

Thanks for the info. I do have filters and could consider my cgo2+ from the q500+,with handheld device. We considered welding helmets but they are all auto darkening and musst be over a 12 rating,so Beware of doing this. Think we will just watch from our pond reflection and maybe video the surrounding area. Be safe all Peace KC.
