The controller will only connect when you are in a mode that uses it...in other words if you go into the "Controller" task, it connects, and disconnects when you leave that mode. I would think it would connect when you use Pilot or Controller modes. I have no problems with mine, basically I power the Breeze and the controller then go to settings turn on airplane mode (to disable phone calls and other potential interruptions), then enable (if necessary) Wifi and connect to Breeze. I then to to Bluetooth enable it and connect to the controller. I then run the app and it works seamlessly when you enter a flight mode that uses the controller.
