Had issues with my H in that it would not calibrate, talked to Yuneec UK and they said and it back. Phoned today and looks like they're replacing the whole thing. Must be fairly serious to warrant that.would be interesting to know what actually went wrong.

Problem now is I have to wait as they don't have any.

Good service from them all the same.

Where labor cost is concerned, it's faster and cheaper to just replace it. Considering it's now just past the holiday season, techs might be pretty busy repairing visible crashed stuff where trouble shooting invisible stuff takes longer to get done.

A straight replacement also gets the aircraft back in the hands of an owner a lot faster. Customer satisfaction; how they are treated, how quickly an issue is resolved, plays a large part in how a customer presents their experiences with a company to others in a society that is extremely fast in conveying sentiment across world wide media venue.

The public is very quick to seek negatives and publish their thoughts, and very slow, or even reluctant, to recognize good. Once they find the good they are even slower in reporting it. It's better to prevent negative perceptions when possible, and a quick replacement does exactly that.
