I recently purchased the ItElite DBS antennae unit for my H. Not for greater range but just to ensure better transmissions in whatever conditions I'm flying in. I never had a problem with my stock antennae. However, the first time I flew with it my video feed broke up badly and tiled like crazy when I was out only about 1200' and about 125' in altitude. Same thing happened on a subsequent flight.
Any reason for this?
Also, the DBS unit came without instructions (none are needed since connections are obvious) but it did come with a fourth connector cable that was considerably thinner than the three connecting cables for the ST16. Is there any purpose for that cable? I can't find any use for it.
