Hey dude. Ran into this thread while searching for solution to same problem with my Q500. Not sure if this applies to the H, but for Q500 there is a GUI software for PC, that has a camera gimble calibration function.

If you're going to add some kind of lense hood onto your camera, try to keep it as light as possible. Otherwise the extra weight might affect the balance of camera on your gimbal, and make video less stable.

Thanks, I've got a CGO3. The way some threads talk about each almost interchangably, I got confused. As for voltage, can I run my CGO3 on a 3S Li-Po, on the handheld camera holder (in place of the 8 AA)? In other words, it 12.6 volts too high? I've seen this mod on other threads. Tks.

Thanks for all the response. Glad to hear the red letters across the top are for video, and not RC control. It was pretty scarry to only have partial control, and feel lucky I was able to land with no crashes. I'll definately start up control first. Didn't realize it was so critical. Tks
