I agree - digital zoom is pretty pointless if you have any ability whatsoever to use any imaging software. It's surely only really for point and shoot "photographers" who use what comes out of the camera as the finished article.

I've just received and tried a SanDisk 32GB Extreme (not pro) and that was also unrecognised first time, but I switched the drone off and back on and it has recognised it, been formatted and captured images okay since. (But I'm still going to carry the original supplied card with me, just in case!)

No, I've used the supplied card to date, with no problems. There must be some tiny discrepancy in the contacts. I've ordered another card now (an Extreme rather than Extreme Pro) - hopefully that will work.
