Sure lots of companies may be worse, large or small, but that has nothing to do with it really and is not an excuse for anyone to let their CS go downhill. Should we lower the standard? Anyway my point has been made, not worth carrying on about now.
Although I understand the frustration, as most have said, it was not approached in the best way by the consumer. Being out of the country complicates the issue.
Having said that, although I haven't had the need more than a few times for my Q500+ bought a few years ago to my 2 H's ... I did try...
I think if I can force myself to fiddle with it I will try to remove the pins without damaging them and use either bread ties or floss. I still don't understand the vibration I felt a few times when it was on the ground, motors shut down and I went to press the off button.
Makes it look easy, I am amazed at how beat up that camera looks and assume it still works.
I may try to replace the pins on mine with something else, probably bread ties or maybe those nylon zip-ties. I have a suspicion that the pins that I bought with the dampers might be part of the jello...
Thought I was done messing with this but got a good weather moment while bored.
So sometimes it doesn't have the jello issue and other times it does.
Noticed something weird. After landing when I went to turn off the H (motors were already stopped) noticed it was vibrating oddly. Nothing was...
yeah I understand that. As much as I hate tinkering with these I just checked some old pics and was flying drones since late 2014.
Just got back from another test, shot some at 1080/60 to see how that would do. Strangely the jello is intermittent and I dunno maybe that has something to do with...
As said tried 2 completely different sets of props, everything exactly the same. I will probably sell it as is and reflect in the price. Probably the **** new dampers, haven't yet reviewed a vid I just shot
I don't know where I can get dampers that work better and then I have to take it apart and put back together again. I got away from DJI cause I found I had to fiddle with things too much and haven't had to with the 3 drones I had from Yuneec until now.
They are the right parts for the "H" but as I said I do think the dampers are slightly different as far as flexibility but size appears the same. Yes, the pins are not the same. I hate fiddling with stuff like this so I paid a shop to put it together (partly my closeup eyesight is not great any...
Thanks, I did check, actually had someone do it for me, (I know, I am a weenie it's pretty simple) but will check again.
They look fine, I pushed on them to try to make sure, but will not be able to fly right now due to weather.
So after hundreds of flights something happened the other day while almost landed and I thought the unit was toast but turned out only the camera rail mount dampers and ties needed to be replaced. Well, those and the props.
So got the parts from Horizon Hobby thru Amazon and installed them...
