It may be that Yuneec employed what others call "model memory", in that not only the model has to match, but the position number in the controller must match also. Have you tried binding both the CGO3+ and the CGOET in the same model?

Well, at 8000', the air is rather thin. Flying at those altitudes, brings VRS into the forefront very strongly. Not to mention available lift and battery life. Usually, different pitch is needed at those altitudes. I am attempting contact with CS to see if there is anything available. Would...

Getting many conflicting statements. Yuneec APV states that there is an 8000' lockout, and the firmware change is not available yet. Though, there has been others who state they have flown at higher elevations no problem. Guess I will have to wait and see next week.

I was wondering if anybody has flown their H below the altitude that they took off from. I will be wanting to follow some people sliding down a hill side, and I will be taking off and controlling from the top of the hill. Has anybody had any issues with something like this?

May be due to the size of the memory card installed in the camera. The larger the card, the longer to initialize. Just a theory.

I had mine connected with a non provided cable.

Install the GUI, then install either the 32 bit or 64 bit driver depending on you OS. I discovered that the USB connection would connect, but wouldn't function. Selecting the serial connection, using COM4, gave me an interface.

Did you go into the pad file manager to see if the card slot didn't work? The SD indicator on the pilot screen is for the SD card in the camera, not the controller. Were the contacts pointing up when you inserted it?
