After careful consideration I’m probably just going to cut my losses and sell it as is with batteries, remote, etc. if anyone is interested.

So my Typhoon Q500 went into our swimming pool during the summer. I sent it in for repairs and they quoted $399 for a refurbished model. This seemed high considering I see refurbs with warranties on eBay for under $300. I replied to return it unrepaired. Question is- should I buy another Q500...

I am far from a photographer. So what changes do I need to make to my cameras default settings to remove the blurring while the drone is moving? Here is my latest video. It's great while stationary.

I too was concerned about this. I guess collision avoidance in our case is reaching an elevation higher than anything else that could be in it's path.

I plugged mine in and went through all the diagnostics. I also tried to update since mine was from '15. It appears that was the most recent firmware update. I had no idea what the rest of the numbers meant so I let everything alone.

Thank you. We moved in 20 years ago on our wedding night. Hopefully my skills will improve once the the trees are green and everything is in full bloom this spring. Right now everything is dead. Hence the need for a filter. :)

I am curious to what you mean by cleaning the motors and storage covers. I keep mine in a case. So dust should not be an issue. But is there some sort of maintenance program I am not aware of? Also, my camera doesn't really lock onto the Q500 that well either. It slides on but never snaps...

I think it depends on the peripheral used to view and perhaps the internet. My videos are a lot smoother at work with high speed cable than at home with DSL. I also just added a filter to the video. I am not quite sure if I like filters or not...
