3d mapping training for yuneec h520 & starting in 3d mapping

So can't the H520 carry out an orbit POI mission with the camera gimbal set at 45deg (for example) and taking a set of interval images?

3d mapping training for yuneec h520 & starting in 3d mapping

Here's another thought. If you want to use the 3D capability of the mapping apps then you can combine your nadir shots (camera strap down) with orbits at a couple of levels for more vertical detail. If you are doing this then the recommendation is that you set your altitude to 4x the highest...

    Swollen Battery

Worth considering where you store your batteries too. Mine are kept in a vented steel ammo box There are aluminium boxes available, best avoided. Vent the box by drilling a few holes in or remove the rubber seal at least, otherwise you've just made a very dangerous can of bang!

I wonder if anyone had the same experience as I did flying in snow.

Am I the only one to think that a flight path straight over the head of the pilot and observer immediately after take-off and in extreme weather conditions, may not be the best idea? It looks like you were in a pretty deserted area so why not take off and fly away from your position?

    Newbie, shopping around

Not impressed with internet search skills here. Want a comparison between P4 and TH video? What's wrong with this? First item up on Google with the search "compare DJI p4 and yuneec typhoon h camera".

    59 Acres Map

Did you consider using true orthographic mapping service like MME or Drone deploy? ICE has made a great effort here but has struggled with stitching top down images of cars, streetlights etc. They look like the images have been taken from different angles (because effectively they have). True...

    Emergency Unpowered Descent

Look at the shape and weight distribution on the TH. The weight is below the props which I would assume would act like the feathers on a badminton shuttlecock. Given the stability of the Phantom, which is a less exaggerated version of the shuttlecock then I'm not sure why there is such an...

SOLVED: Typhoon H Pro (Realsense) Flyaway

OK, so you're presumably happy to fly a heli at night over a built up area because you have lots of experience and know the craft. My point is that you shouldn't take a craft you are not familiar with and do the same thing, particularly one which seems to have a flyaway habit. Then we see...

    To boldly go alone...

If it helps, I've fitted Strobons to an Inspire on each leg - close to the antennas and ESCs. Carried out static and dynamic tests with no props - no problems. Then flew - still no problems. Have carried out an intensive operation at London Heathrow in an area surrounded by metal buildings...

SOLVED: Typhoon H Pro (Realsense) Flyaway

Another but of advice. If you don't understand the basics of flying your UAV then don't go flying it at night BVLOS. Before you claim you could still see it 1/4 Mike away bear in mind that VLOS INCLUDES KNOWING THE AIRCRAFT'S ORIENTATION.
