    Need clarification altimeter or barometer

A barometer measures static air pressure. This measurement can in turn be used to predict weather, as a relatively lower air pressure indicates a cold front and visa versa. So yes, instruments that indicate altitude (via air pressure) use a barometer.

Anyone have any luck with an FPV goggles or using an HDMI type of goggle?

I watched a YT video yesterday showing the H pro and a sneak peak at Yuneek's own googles which are about to be released. Still trying to find the video to link it here.

    Help with Curved Cable Cam

Did you use the throttle stick to give it the "go" command? The throttle stick is used to tell the H to travel along the "cable" and back.

Getting A Tiny Bit Better with Camera

Remember the "rule of thirds" DC. Try and put the horizon at a third of the way through the frame. Usually top third. But as always, some rules are meant to be broken... This may also help lessen the under exposed ground you are getting.

Here's a great video on the ST16 with camera settings DC.

    I like the Wizard

Okay. I personally wouldn't do it though. Sends shivers down my spine. There have been enough unexplained control errors here to worry about let alone trying to hook up another device. If someone wants to use that and it woks, cool. I just tend to err on the side of caution. Maybe I'm getting...

    I like the Wizard

I would be cautious about doing this. Trying to bind anything other than the H's controller (either ST16 or Wizard) could be catastrophic.

    Hello,wanted to introduce myself.

Welcome SCAPBT. I remember my first multirotor (many years ago now) I still have it and fly her occasionally, so much fun. I would recommend reading as much about the H as you can find. Start up procedure, Safe Circle (aka Circle of Death) etc. Once you are very familiar with the fine print go...

    Hard case ideas

Hi Bob, The Pelican 1610 works well as another member has shown. They are $199 from B&H and Amazon with the pick and pluck foam insert. Also the Q500 hard case works.

    Batteries from BH

I used to be able to get large 6s batteries flown out from over seas. But in the last couple of years they have really clamped down on it. Now if I order from somewhere like Revolectrix they re write the capacity of the battery just so it can get here. My 6s 12000mAh batteries are 266Wh. They...

    Batteries from BH

Hi Chris, I believe (as is the case with most airlines) many air freight companies will not ship batteries over 100WH. So one H battery would in theory ship but two wont. Just a thought. Wh = number of cells x 3.7V x Amp Hours. So the H battery is 79.9Wh.

All expert RC pilots listen up

Hi Harvey, I wasn't having a dig at you, not by a long shot. It was a broad brush statement to some who have never flown anything and diving head first into an H or any other mid level UAV and wondering what it all means when things aren't going so well. I'm one of those older buggers who...
