    FAA registration

That is also a really good video and worth a watch or two. Absorb the material, and you'll pass with no problem.

    FAA registration

I do remember reports of fake registration sites and places claiming to help you with registration for a fee. So I doubt your experience is the only one.

    FAA registration

Each credit card company can be different, I've disputed many charges before and never needed one. But in this case I would simply state that charge x is fraudulently claiming to be working with the FAA and handling drone certifications and registrations. The FAA has come out publicly stating...

    FAA registration

And the FAA doesnt send a photo ID. Registrations are just printed and the card for certificates doesnt have a photo.

    FAA registration

I read early on to watch out for those. There is one site only for registering as a hobbyist and your aircraft if you are certified. And testing fees are paid directly at the testing center. You were likely screwed out of everything past the $5 fee.

    FAA registration

Paid $47 for what? Drone registration is $5, FAA test is $150.

    FAA registration

This is the study guide I used. Remote Pilot Test Prep 2019: Study & Prepare (Test Prep Series) Remote Pilot Test Prep 2019: Study & Prepare: Pass your test and know what is essential to safely operate an unmanned aircraft from the most trusted source in aviation training (Test Prep Series)...

    FAA registration

The cost is $150, and it does open up a lot of airspace that you no longer need to do notifications for. If you are good at studying, it's not too hard. I used a study guide that I read cover to cover and watched a few good YouTube review videos and easily passed my first time.

    FAA registration

If you registered as a hobbyist, you use the same FAA number for all drones. But if you have a part 107 and want to use them under your 107 each drone needs to be registered individually. I have both a hobbyist and 107 certificate, 2 drones are individually registered, the rest I use...

    Crashed q500 4k

Rotors wont affect it not starting. I've ran mine with no motors on full acceleration to drain the battery for storage. Edit: just read rotors flew off mid flight.

    Crashed q500 4k

If its brand new, I would contact Yuneec. If it make you feel better, my first day with my H pro I had real sense on. And it ran into a tree breaking a rotor arm during follow me. Yuneec is pretty easy to deal with, but they do take a few weeks.

    Interesting discussion with Yuneec President

Kinda sounds like DJI will be the stand out in the high end consumer drones. I didnt do the math but I know I'm not ready for a dr ok ne in the $3000 range.

    Typhoon Q500 4K or spark

I dont know and yuneec doesnt say on its spec sheet.

    Typhoon Q500 4K or spark

The lower end dji and yuneec are all using 2.4 and 5ghz wireless, but dji and the newer yuneec controllers have adjustable antennas. I would guess that makes for a big improvement in range. There are modifications you can do to the q500 controller to get a better signal.

    Typhoon Q500 4K or spark

If you dont have much wireless interference or buildings you'll likely get better range. There are also antennae modifications you can do with the q to extend the range.
