New Breeze owner with a story and some questions.

Unmanned Aircraft in the National Parks (U.S. National Park Service) Unmanned Aircraft in the National Parks (U.S. National Park Service) Violation of the ban is a misdemeanor with the maximum penalty of six months in jail and a $5,000 fine. My city had just passed an ordinance to ban all...

Small backup battery would be cool

On PC, a coin battery helps keeping the clock running. Not so much power is needed. For WiFi, GPS circuitry inside the drone, much more power is needed to maintain continuous connectivity. Therefore a "small" battery can't be enough to do what you want. Think of your cellphone, even when you're...

Breeze Drone 4K rising higher price back to $399.99.... OMG. Killer app Drone. Sold out!?!?

My city has just passed an ordinance to ban drones :(

    Breeze over water

I've flown the Breeze lowly over a creek for hundreds of feet, it followed the flow of water without any problem. Altitude was set at 3ft. GPS was off however. The video was fantastic.

    Bald eagle VS. Breeze

The bald eagle in the OP's story might have been professionally trained to steal drones. There are many large trees in my neighborhood and there are hills around. Everyday, up high in the sky, I could see hawks circling looking for preys. At tree level, black crows squawking in trees, waiting...

    Wi fi problems ....Breeze 4k

According to here Specifications | Samsung Galaxy A8 and A8+ - The Official Samsung Galaxy Site the phone supports 5Ghz ac band so it should work to connect. >>A8 phone will not recognize the breeze unit on the wifi..??? How it will not connect?

    Bald eagle VS. Breeze

    >>We watched it fly away in his talons Hitting the RTH button could have saved the drone and earned a free bird.

    Newbie's doubt

The Return To Home action can crash the drone because where the drone lands is only an approximation.

    Breeze over water

I think the OP saved my Breeze with the warning "first off it says plainly in the manual do not fly the Breeze over water" I'm about to take it to a lake on my vacation. HydroBreeze in the making

Yuneec Breeze is very weak in music delivery

The 3DR Solo could deliver the music with a JBL Flip 3, but the Breeze could only do it with the smallest bluetooth speaker in the world.

    Breeze Range Extender

Sorry. I didn't see the thread as it moved to sticky. The Comfast 370 worked. For all my tests, I used the Samsung Note 2 (known to drop WiFi), LG V520 tablet and K88 tablet because I hated the small screen of my old iPhone 5. I've just tested the extender with iPhone 5, the symptoms were as...

    Flying over water .

Coating to waterproof the electronics may also insulate it. The heat that can't escape may kill the electronics before the water. Every drone, every helicopter is different. You don't know the effect of coating/insulating until you fly it for the length of battery's life.

    HydroBreeze in the making

This setup with super light plastic baseballs hovered above grass, turned, flew OK only in zero to near zero wind condition. I dared not take it up higher than 8ft. I strongly doubt that it can survive over the lake where I'm going for vacation. In gentle wind, it drifted wildly (This Breeze...

    Breeze Range Extender

Sorry, I got mixed up in a test. Only the Asus (110V) supports dual bands concurrently. In WiFi setup, you'll see two SSIDs to connect to. The Edimax supports 5Ghz band only. The extenders don't need any app installed. Just follow the included instruction to set up with the Breeze powered on...

    Another, less happy, adventure..

It looked like a "lost WiFi then Return Home" case. When WiFi is lost, the drone goes up a preset altitude, flies back horizontally to above where the take-off point was then it descends. I always tested RTH routine before flying to make sure the drone would SAFELY land where it's supposed to...
