Small backup battery would be cool

How cool would it be if the breeze or any other drone for that matter had a small battery that kept the drone on while you do a battery change? This way you don't waste time going through the process of restarting the drone.

On PC, a coin battery helps keeping the clock running. Not so much power is needed.
For WiFi, GPS circuitry inside the drone, much more power is needed to maintain continuous connectivity. Therefore a "small" battery can't be enough to do what you want.

Think of your cellphone, even when you're not calling, texting or browsing the internet, your phone and the nearby towers constantly "talk" to each other to maintain contact.

Yes I know. But a small 1 cell lipo can fit in there. Cellphone batteries aren't huge.

The Typhoon H need around 200mA at full battery voltage (4S) to keep alive. A small Lipo can do the job for a long time but needs to be recharged and balanced from time to time. A simple circuit has no protection against under voltage.
You need a schottky diode to protect the batty against inverse current.
