I do have a Typhoon for the better shots. The Mantis is easier to travel with (of course) and I enjoy flying it because it holds its altitude much better then my FPV Mach 25. And for less then $200.00. Thanks for your reply.

Just found the specs on my AT&T Axia. The processor is a quad core, but is only 1.1 GHz I found a web sight that says anything under 1.4 GHz is not suitable for proper operation of special functions.

Welcome back DM. You seem to enjoy troubleshooting. I agree with you on the pleasure to fly. It is easier to get ready then the Typhoon which I haven't even used the Wizard yet.

I hope somebody has an answer for this problem. When try to set up the follow me function the frame I draw around the subject disappears without the start button appearing. Sometimes it does appear but the frame is now pointing at the ground. Some drift does occur on a windy day. Even on a calm...

The special function (follow me) is still not working. I will probably start a new thread for advice. I can draw a frame around the subject but the green start button won't always appear until the frame moves off of Subject. Quirky response.

The phone is AT&T QS5509 with Android 8.1.0. My carrier is Verizon so I have no intention of upgrading. It was available refurbished for $20.00. It can not be upgraded.

Further testing on the phone. When I deleted my Google account on the phone, I only had the generic global map. This is more then I had before registering. I then resigned on to Google and then location returned. Today I'll see if my special functions now operate correctly. This phone is only...

Thanks very much for the analysis. I will try again. I take it that the controller to drone signal is 2.4mhz. One last question is about the follow- me. It's seems quirky and is hard to initiate.

Thanks for the fast reply. If I have Google maps turned on on the AT&T phone which is connected to my Pixel phone hot spot. Does wifi engage both duties ,the drone and the Pixal3 ? Don't sweat the answer I know it's more of an answer for an engineer.
