Funny thing about that. When you sign the contract for your room, you give Carnival permission to use your likeness in any future advertising and/or promotions. So if the activity is sponsored by Carnival, they can pretty much do what they wish in regards to taking your picture.

I don't guess I was clear in my OP. It's only flown while in port, and only in approved areas in said ports while adhering to local laws. The only drone footage that I'll get while onboard is while holding it and using the camera to capture the view from our balcony.

HUGE no-no! They are only to be flown while off the ship and even then, don't get too close to the ship.
