Note that the drone doesn't wiggle or budge when the rope is slack and then suddenly tightens. I think it would move a bit when he suddenly pulled on the tow rope.

If you don't have easy access to water jet cutting service, a hot wire cutter works almost as well. You can find how to make one on the Instructables website. Trace around your gear to make some non flammable templates to keep your lines straight.

Sorry for the dumb question but in a number of places in the instruction manual it says "Turn on the transmitter and allow it to boot up fully before turning on the aircraft." When is it fully booted up?
