An interesting discovery... Hobbyists who registered

When FAA registration was initially reversed, some people requested their $5 dollars back and to have their name removed from the records. If you did that, you will have to reregister. If you didn't, you can go to the FAA registration web site, look up your account, and print a new card with the...

    Breeze Fly Away

Ya I can see that thinking about it some more. The purpose of the RTH height is to hopefully clear any obstacles on the way back. If you are already at or above that height then there's no need to do anything. Thanks for the clarification.

Breeze controller not recognized by computer or Breeze

You'd think if Yuneec wanted to stay competitive, an update would be a no brainer. I also have the Mavic Air and to fly, you power up the app (not a hint of an issue with Android), power up the controller, power up the drone and go fly. Then again, assuming the government doesn't shut us down...

    Breeze Fly Away

RE: Problem with drones in general is that when they encounter a strong wind it is impossible to return to home at the altitude they are flying. Can you elaborate on this Techtalktoll. Won't the drone (at least Yuneec drones) fly home at the altitude set in the RTH parameters and not the...

    Comfast CF-WR371AC range extender

What kind of range extension are people getting ? If it's more than the built in geo fence parameters, how do you get past the fence ?

Smooth Camera Pans: Best with controller or just the phone app?

So does this mean you can switch back and forth between controller mode and orbit, journey, etc and then back to controller mode all while in flight ?

Breeze controller not recognized by computer or Breeze

Ok. That worked. Flew it today and had full control over all functions. Thanks for the instructions. Maybe Yuneec will come out with a firmware update that's more friendly to Android phones. It would be nice to be able to fly without having to know the secret handshake. :)

Breeze controller not recognized by computer or Breeze

I've read through all of the posts regarding firmware updates etc. I've done the controller update but don't think it really took even though it says it completed successfully. So here's what I "can" do. I can connect the breeze to my phones wifi (Galaxy S9+). I can connect the controller to my...

    i have an issue...

Check out this video from AMA. They are certainly putting a positive spin on this but I think it's too early to know anything for sure.

    i have an issue...

According to AMA, their goal is not to shut us down and they are willing to talk about other issues like the 400 foot limit. Like most other government things, the proof will be in the pudding.

Breeze picture and video - location and download

Hi. I did a search and couldn't find this topic discussed. Apologies if I missed it. I talked my brother into buying a Breeze and we set it up and flew it for the first time yesterday. No issues. He went home last night and took some video and pictures in his backyard and can't find them in the...

    Low battery and distance

Battery care is a whole topic unto it's self but very basically speaking, the quickest way to kill a rechargeable battery is to over stress it. That happens either by exceeding the batteries discharge rate (pulling power out faster than the battery is designed to give it), over charging, or over...

    i have an issue...

I wouldn't get too upset over the new language "yet". It's going to be awhile until it goes into effect and what it says is that the FAA can make changes. People are already interpreting that to mean more restrictive when in fact those changes could be exceptions so that we can continue our...
