3D MAPPING POSSIBLE?

It's possible to do 3D mapping with my Q500 4k? If YES, how to?

Well, yes. The learning curve is nearly vertical. However, I don't know if the CGO3 adds a geotag to the pics. The CGO3+ does. You will need to verify that. I haven't done any 3D but I've seen others post samples from the H.

Hi, did anyone of you try to make with default setup of yuneec q500 4k ? I have an interesting assignment but I am not sure if the outcome can be good enough. I think I could handle with technicallities but I am not sure if I should try to start even make research on that topic with my setup...

CGO3 pics do not have coordinates in EXIF data.

If you tried? I saw you have to update the system with those files in the link you posted here. I'm just afraid to add anything in the firmware when does not comes from Yuneec.

I do not mapping. The links are only what I found or remember regarding mapping with legacy Yuneec multirotor.

No special firmware update needed at all. All the procedures points to postprocessing, tagging the pictures with geodata and so on.
