There are microphones on the CGO3 and CGO3+. However, there is a fan inside the camera and the mics will pick up the fan noise. And when you start the motors all you hear is the prop noise.

The sound is pretty annoying, but I have occasionally used the change of pitch or volume to help determine what the drone is doing. This may be useful in selecting edit points in your video production. Also, I've used the drone microphone sounds at the beginning and end of my videos to add a bit of realism to the show.
