Picture shows the comet on the Verona Arena. This is the city where I Live. These are old pictures, this year the star was not installed due to an accident occurred last year during dismantling...but authorities says that next year it will be back in place, after repair.
To give you an idea...this comet is 70 mtrs high, 82 mtrs long and has a weight of 80 tons. It's made of steel, the longest spikes are 22 mtrs. It was a project of a local architect, and was build in 1984 and installed every year just before Christmas. This is the first year without our comet.
