Altitude is not the issue when it comes to video lag.
Distance is the issue and of course altitude corresponds to distance.
With antenna mods I get a solid 5000 feet but the lag is serious at about 3-4 seconds at that distance.
I fly in a mountainous area and that lag caused me to lose one Q high up on a mountain.
They make and aftermarket FPV setup for the Q that you can use goggles with and that's your best way to go.
The screen is to small, the lighting can cause visual issues when your trying to view the screen and the lag can be serious.
Be smart about what your doing.Keep a good distance from any objects and think it all through first.
