No, the RTH height is preset... if you are below that height, the AC will ascend to the preset, follow the path back to the controller and then if Angle mode is not re-established, will then auto-land at low battery. RTH height can be set to a user's preference and should ideally be high enough to clear any obstacles in the path to the controller.

Maybe @Steve Carr can provide further insight... I do not have experience specifically with the Q, so I can't confirm that one way or another.

The Q did not have an adjustable RTH height (H does) but even with that if it was below about 10m when RTH was activated it would climb to 10m before initiating lateral flight. Chroma was the same way.

After a certain update the Typhoon H let you adjust the height for the Return To Home. The manual for the Q indicates that if you are lower than 33ft (10m) it will climb to that altitude and then RTH
