I have seen a new CGO-ET camera listed on vertigo drones for $2500. Does any one know if this is a redesign? Is the old CGO-ET able to run the new software? Why would they increase the price of an $1800 camera when they can just push the TV camera line? Any info is appreciated.

I have reviewed the specs on both cameras and they are in fact the same... What justifies a $700 dollar price increase....

Yuneec sets the minimum price for authorized dealers. It does not set a maximum price. So this dealer has simply raised the price of the same camera.

That is not the case as it is listed as a New camera... And the old 1800 camera has been removed from the site...

It is the same part number and not a new model: YUNETUS
That is the H520 version and it will not work on the Typhoon H.

So why did the price go up from 1800 to 2500 for a four year old camera? What is the reason for? 700 price jump

A question best answered by Vertigo Drones as they are the ones advertising it, but there has always been a price disparity between the CGO-ET for the H480 and the one for the H520. The firmware is different between the two and cannot be changed by the end user.

If you look at VD’s prices for anything you will see it is always at the upper end of the scale compared to most other vendors.
