We recently provided orthomasaic data to a client as requested but his planner has come back with a request for ortho-rectified…
.“I’m hoping you can supply me with an ortho-rectified aerial photo from the data you have captured.
I need to prepare a scaled base plan so I can sit down with Ryan and prepare his DA.
Are you able to extract an image from your data? I need to import it into Microstation.”
Is this within the scope of pix4dmapper?

Tommy,

An ortho-rectified image is also an orthomosaic. its possible that your client is having problems getting his software to load the images. Have you asked Pix4D Mapper to produce ortho tiles? Thats a better bet. I use AutoCAD and it refuses to load any tiff encoded as a BigTiff format.

Otherwise you could try the following;
reduce the ortho resolution in Pix4D and repocess stage 3
Or bring the ortho into another program to reduce the size or encode as a jpeg. Note that you'll need to ensure the world file stays, but it needse the file ending changed to a *.jfw instead of *.tfw. QGIS can do this. Pix4D forums also suggest using IrfanView.
