ST16 battery connector

As I understand this battery inside ST16 is actually fixed....there is this connector but it is sealed you can't unplugged it, right ?
I don't understand why there is actually this "connector" if you can't unplugged it.
Anyway, I would probably disconnect that and reconfigure this and use proper connectors male/female.
So, should I use EC2 connectors ?

It should be an EC2 already. It's not hard wired. They sell a replacement battery and it's got the EC2 end. Post a picture please.

Sorry, my bad.......it looked like ths is sealed blue connector but now I can see that i can unplugg it.
