st16s not working

I have a controller that came with my typhoon h plus, has not been in use for over a year. I replaced the battery and it doesn’t do anything. The blue light turns on and that’s it. I’m stumped on this.
Now also will a st16 work with a typhoon h plus? They are much less expensive.

You mentioned you replaced the battery but did not mention if you charged the replacement battery?

The ST16 can be converted to ST16S for H Plus, but not directly. You have to convert first to ST16S for H520, then to H Plus. There is not a lot of experience out there with converted controllers. At least it is possible.
The process is pretty tedious if you do the whole conversion. Give these instructions a read. You might decide the cost of an ST16S isn't all that high after all.
