Ok guys don’t want to reinvent the wheel who’s done this before moded a USB adapter/repeater to add a sma connector for various antennas?
This unit has a physical switch to switch freqs 2.4 and 5.8ghz
I know you don’t have the unit to test with, but if you relay message to me I have all the tools other than a scope and RF testing equip
Here are some pics.. any insight direction would be appreciated.: got some free time to muck around with this, sure I can go buy a repeater with external sma connector but no fun in that :F
End gold would be to solder at sma connector to board shield and core but where? I see the printed balance dipole antennas there the chip etc but where to go for 5.8ghz
