Hi,

what ist the password to log into the drones wifi. The SSID is called h850-XXXX, where XXXX is a something like a3c7.

I tried 1234567890 but without success. There is also no password sticker on the drone.

Best,
Norman

I saw this, I couldn’t find any info. I’m going to use an ESP32 to capture the WiFi handshake and see if it’s possible to crack using a wordlist…

I do not have an H850. All I can do is speculate:

The password may be like other Yuneec Drone passwords. Some, like Mantis, use an individual password for each unit.
With that said, the owner's manual does not mention a password when binding an H850 to its controller. The manual does mention a password when connecting the controller to home/office WiFi. The password mentioned is just your home/office Wifi password. It is NOT related to or provided by Yuneec.

Perhaps another question might be to ask @unnu exactly what password, connection is he trying to accomplish.

WiFi is only required for updates and Team Mode on the H850.
Image capture via WiFi does not work because it is transmitted via OFDM.

The fact is, however, that the drone transmits a WiFi signal... this can be seen on the smartphone.
But what it is for is not documented anywhere.
I have not found any information or password on the Yuneec server.

I believe the H850 was supposed to comply with RID requirements. If you have an Android device you might be able to detect the H850 with the Drone Scanner app by DroneTag, or DroneScout, or AirSentinel apps. It needs to be the Android version as iOS does not allow this type of WiFi reception. If it is a RID broadcast it does not require connection you just receive the data packets it sends out.

Are you able to contact me regarding a customers H600? I just have some questions he has and I don’t have the answer, I also have some questions about troubleshooting if you’re able to help. I can send a PM?
