Controller issue

I have a Moto z-force Android but the controller won't connect to it. On my Bluetooth settings I actually connected it but when I go to the breezecam app it says not found. Has anyone had this problem with newer phones? And if so is breeze going to update the app for people with new phones or what?
 
Your phone should be fine. Did you power the controller on by using the Power+A combo?
 
Yea I did and like I said I can connect the controller to my phone but not to the breezecam app.
 
Try this in sequence:
  • Power off your Breeze and your controller
  • Switch your mobile to airplane mode (No phone, no data, no WiFi, no Bluetooth, no NFC)
  • Kill all open apps on your mobile
  • Power on your Breeze and wait until the left arm has a blinking green LED inside
  • Open Breeze Cam app
  • Use the switch inside the app to activate WiFi
  • If necessary select Breeze's WiFi, otherwise it will connect automatically
  • When the connection is established go to "Controller Mode" task
  • Go to next screen "Experience Now"
  • Power on your controller
  • Use the in app button to activate your mobile's BT
  • Controller and Phone should be connected now.
