I didn't no the Typhoon H had a Flippy Mode on it! LOL Bad wind gust, save it by giving full throttle and yaw to the left full.
Not sure of the speeds, were I was they didn't seem so bad but once I got up higher, well! I brought her home and park it for the day.Talk about a major case of gimbal lock!
What kind of winds were you experiencing?
I was lucky, I try movements on the sticks and I guess it was enough. I knew if it went upside down it was all over!Wow, those gusts must have been at least 35+ mph?

That looks like one of my flights in a Cessna when going to Aspen CO. I saw lenticular clouds and was anticipating a bit of turbulence, then all the sudden we hit the leeward winds.
Suddenly my plane did a hard 90° bank to the right several times , while my head hit the side of the window. It was good experience, kinda fun though!
