I want to thank everyone ahead of time for their assistance. My Q500 4K has probably 15 short flights on it and last week because of a bad battery I had a hard landing. It did like a slow motion roll over and just cracked 1 prop. No other damage. Bought new battery and calibrated compass and accelerometer. Checked st10 and found j4 not returning. Cleaned pots and rechecked ok. I checked st10 with GUI with what knowledge I have, I seen no errors. When I go to lift off, it seems like the throttle has to be pushed too far up for it to become airborne. I sensed something wrong and pulled the stick all the way down and it reluctantly touched back down and I held the red button and it shut down. Is it possible that my calibrations didn’t get done correctly? My biggest question is does it matter where the turtle rabbit slider is when calibrating and watching videos of compass calibration, some turn the bird left some turn it right, and again different turtle rabbit positions.
I can’t remember if you should have the slider to turtle when lifting off? Maybe that’s my whole problem? I’m just being over cautious? Thanks again for any input
