For the moment, we can not put the radio in mode 1, it is not yet on the radio like Typhoon H.
But it is not worse in the background, you have the forward on the right stick and the orientation on the left stick and you manage more easily the turns, while in mode 1, you do it on the same stick .
I found it so much more convenient that I also spent the Inspire DJI in mode 2.
There are only planes that I keep in mode 1, I have too much of a habit with them.
But after, everyone's way of seeing.

I have the same problem because I have the habit of RC planes in mode 1 and my Q500 4K also in mode 1. sent an email to the french support of yuneec with the request. I hope they will be able to answer me.
Finally, I prefer mode 2, it is easier to move forward or backward with the right stick and to control the gimbal with the left wheel or the rotary knob of the pitch with the left hand.
Not allowing access to the PX4 parameters to change mode is a bit of a school boy error by Yuneec

RC_MAP_THROTTLE (1=mode 2 & 3 = mode 1)
RC_MAP_PITCH (3=mode 2 & 1 = mode 1)
My preference is to fly mode 1 as it allows forward flight with flat turns (which I want for video) on a single stick
