I am having trouble with my H rudder control...It will turn left alright, but refuses to turn right....I don't need any political comments either..;) I have checked it out in the settings and it shows it working and responding there. Any Ideas?

TIA

hello
I'm sure you can be a few different things but if worse comes to worse. you may want to try a complete factory reset on your st16 controller. Just be careful and cautious don't take any unnecessary Chances with your drone. if you go to YouTube and look at Richard Gilmore's complete factory reset on the st16 controller it's a great video to watch. but looking other areas first and please keep us posted there's lots of good info out there who will get it resolved.

1st check to see if it's calibrating correctly,
also use electric cleaner on your pod.
Then you may want to re-calibrate before doing ANY reset!

I am not sure this problem can be solved by a full reset of the ST-16. Calibration maybe, but not a full reset...

Willie, have you checked the stick response in the channel settings ? That is a more accurate display of what is going on than the hardware monitor. Go into the channel settings for Rudder, hit the red button for that (I wanna say J2 ?), and then play with it for a full 5 minutes to ascertain whether the monitor matches your movements. If there is any drag or inconsistency, or things don't reach extents, then in all likelihood the stick needs a clean, which you should do with plastic-safe electrical contact cleaner.

If you play for 5 minutes and that control responds exactly as you input, then I'm pretty much out of ideas, because the sticks are the only part of that input / output system we can get to and control !

Any suggestions on brand etc ...As silly as it seems to me, I have never used any contact cleaner in my 70+ years....lol

I already went through channel settings and they are responding as expected.

Yeah, I get WD-40 'specialist series' electrical contact cleaner. Definitely not regular WD-40 !!

Thanks Guys...Much appreciated!

Due to weather issues, I have only been able to barely test the sticks since I used the CRC Cleaner on them...But from the short amount of time I was able to test, they seem to be working properly now....So, a big THANK YOU! every one.
