Steady grip: unbearable latency between camera and smartphone

I am very disappointed by the lag between the shooting of the CGO3 + and the conrôle of the image on the smartphone. For me the Steady Grip is virtually unusable.
Could there be a way to remedy this?

I use my iPhone and the latency is zero for me.

I think it would be great to have a sticky about which phones work really well with the app. The phone I have now (cheap phone, ZTE Blade A512 , Android 6.0.1) does not find the CO·+
My Samsung Note 4 worked very good.
I have used it with the wizard and with the steady grip

Ah OK ! You reassure me.
I had to buy a phone low-end to have the wifi 5.8. It is the smartphone that is involved and not the CGO3 +; Phew!
Is there a list of compatible phones? All Samsung models?

Did I say that ???! I added to being reassured that only the smartphone is involved because I thought that a 5.8 wifi from one phone to another would be similar.

Rather than using a phone, I picked up a used Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 which is dual wifi so it is 5.8GHz compatible. It fits my steady grip just fine and has a 7" screen.
