Wind Farm

Impressive. Here in Texas, West Texas, we have a number of wind farms. Scott Head Moor farm is in England, right?

One reason wind farms interest me is that a son-in-law is a principal in a steel flange manufacturer who supplies wind tower flanges, connecting the vertical sections together. Some of these flanges are 17' in diameter.

A neat video, and i want to thank you for posting it. Was it taken with the TH?

Hi Rayray,

Yup, this is the UK. It was a fun flight. I got there just before sunrise and there was a steady 15-20mph wind gusting to 25-30mph. I was a bit nervous putting the typhoon up in the air but as soon as she was airbourne she was as steady as a rock. Didn't really notice the wind much which I thought was pretty amazing :)
I certainly won't worry about flying the typhoon in the wind again.
