While low level flying...as in above my roof and other surfaces, I like how the belly sensors assist me in not getting too low.

Thanks Ty. So yes the H is resetting to zero once the props engage. One thing to note... If I start the props then shut them down and engage them again for a total of two times during the same sitting before take off the altitude seems to perform more accurately.

Anybody having issues with their h gradually increasing altitude while it sits before takeoff? I'm sure I am performing calibrations correctly but maybe im missing something? Any advice?

Did you use the release system that Murray shared or was it some other system?

Yes sir I did look at that one. I just was not sure if that was the one that Splat decided to drop from. I'm going to go ahead and apologize for my ignorance in regards to future elementary questions as I am relatively new to the world of serious drones as well as electronics.

Is there any type of a remote drop release of some kind for the H out there? I would be able to knock out two birds with one stone so to speak....Im thinking inflatable for search and rescue water victims as well as GI Joe drops to impress my kids and get them interested more in my droning...
