In Germany, the Typhoon H-RS is selling for as little 1,150 euros I don't think I paid more than 1,700 euros for my first TH-RS, 2 1/2 years back. My second TH-RS was only 1,400 euros last February. I think the price you are quoting is rather on the high side.

I am curious what system they use to detect the incoming drone. Judging by all the patch antennas on the "Killer Drone" I would guess it is homing in on the telemetry or any of the other signals emmited buy the target. I doubt radar would be an option unless it was guided by a separate ground...

One thing I did was to buy some graphite tube stock in both the diameter of the rotor arms and the landing struts. It is a **** of a lot cheaper to cut a new section of tubing than to buy the whole arm or strut.

I have the same stickers on my ST-16 as well. I plan to hold on the the orange sheet of stickers for the ST-16 for any repairs or bits I might decide to fiddle about with. Anyway an orange transmitter doesn't really float my boat.
