I wonder what the output of the 5.8 Tx is? That is the limiting factor, plus you never want to outfly your control range. Bigger ears on the ST16 will help receive video at that range.

I think the death-throw for our hobby was that guy last year putting out a video of a gun on a drone and firing it. That in itself made every law enforcement agency in the world pay attention. If a hobbyist can do that, then a person with motivation can certainly recreate it. I've said it...

@ Tim Terrones...Do you know yet just how much delay there will be in the video feed to the ST16? Is the signal delay from the processor time of the camera control board, or the wifi transmission? Also..When an observer connects their device to see the video feed are they connecting to the ST16...

Do you mean a built-in screen or HDMI output? The answer is YES to both questions. But there is going to be too much signal delay for true "FPV" flying. This MR is designed for smooth camera movements, not FPV racing.

I can't seem to find any info about the original CGO3 camera sensor, specifically, the manufacturer. Yuneec has made it known that the new CGO3+ for the H is on a new Sony sensor. anyone have any details about the differences?

You don't need a 4K monitor to do your editing, the monitor is only your window into the image so you will still see the image as 1080. ( I, personally, don't think the eye can perceive the difference between 1080 and 4K on anything smaller than a 10' display at six inches from your face...but...

I was referring to traveling with it to the DR. Their FAA policies are even more stringent for registering a drone and its size/weight limits. And if I understand their paperwork correctly, you have to answer a test on Spanish plus have general Spanish speaking skills.
